So easy to Sew!

I just started a couple of wet bags with the Denim Splash fabric as the outer layer. I have a couple of more to make, as they will be gifted to my son, hubby and son in laws for Christmas. I had never used laminated fabric before now, and am still a beginner sewer, having sewn for less than a year. The material was easy to cut and it sewed like a charm. The corners were easily boxed, as the material holds it shape, and they came out perfect. I have a pretty basic sewing machine, so I did get a teflon presser foot as I didn't want to take any chances on having issues. But I will try my regular presser foot on a small scrap to see how that works. I've purchased two other solid fabrics to use in the wet bags, and also one print, that will be used later on to make my daughters gifts for their birthdays. I couldn't be happier with the purchase, as the quality is good and the fabric is super soft but durable.

Easy to sew

This matches well with Ravenna and Cypress. Very soft and easy drape. Easy to sew and easy to mix with cotton fabrics.

Just what I needed

I wanted to make a small waterproof back pack for travel and this fabric made up very nicely. I loved the backpack, but I needed a bit more room, so I'm making a second one. Great product.

Splash Fabric is coated with a water-based urethane. This protective layer is rolled out in the factory and heat-set to the cotton. The result is a creamy, durable, soft, and all-around fantastic-feeling fabric. 

The coating will eventually biodegrade, but that won't happen until you are long done using it. Highest standard for food-safety and eco-friendliness, this is truly feel good fabric.
