Beautiful poppy print!

I used both the Napa color and the Monteray in beach bags and cinch bags as gifts for family. I had originally purchased Splash Fabric last year, and made cinch bags and flower pot pouches as home gifts and as presents for family. The Napa is a nice neutral tone, and like all Splash Fabric, it is easy to sew. It's a nice wide fabric, so I can always use the smaller yardage for smaller gifts, as the non fray edges help to expand the yardage. I was switching between projects and fabric types, and failed to change back to a teflon foot; however, my little sewing machine had no issues in feeding the Splash Fabric through. I was only disappointed that the needle had been left out of my order. I'm now awaiting delivery of the newer patterns, as I have more bags to make for family.

Spills just wipe off our laminated cotton!

Splash Fabric is coated with a water-based urethane. This protective layer is rolled out in the factory and heat-set to the cotton. The result is a creamy, durable, soft, and all-around fantastic-feeling fabric. 

The coating will eventually biodegrade, but that won't happen until you are long done using it. Highest standard for food-safety and eco-friendliness, this is truly feel good fabric.
