ALOHA Fabric - Laminated Cotton - by the 1/2 yard

Love this Aloha fabric….I got enough to make 2 tablecloths 50x50ish and easy to hem them up. Now we are using them on the condo lanai tables on Maui -Napili Bay with the family celebrating spring break for the grandkids and our 50th wedding anniversary. The Kids love them too and will take them home for their patios this summer.

I was amazed at how easy this fabric was to sew. I made the free lined standup pouch pattern. Thank you for the non stick needle that was included with this fabric! I am making some tote bags with water proof canvas and will be using the fabric for outside pockets.

I purchased the Aloha . fabric in order to make a beach bag and a lined drawstring bag for one of my daughters for her birthday. I have to admit, that when the print was first announced (it's a new one), I wasn't that sold on the colors. But upon arrival, I absolutely love the print. Like all the laminated fabric, it sews up easily, even without a teflon foot, as I failed to change out the pressure foot during one crafting session, and my regular sewing foot worked quite well. I followed the beach bag pattern available through the Splash Fabric site, and the bags turned out well, as I used multiple Splash prints. The only downside is that a needle was omitted from my last two orders. I would like to see a mountain/ forest print in the future - just an idea.

I’m looking forward to using the laminated fabric in a sewing class I’m about to take in March. If I manage this class, I will definitely order more ALOHA Fabric from you. I loved the texture and pattern.
