How wide is our laminated cotton?
You may have noticed that we have updated our fabric descriptions to show 55" instead of 58". Here's why!
You may have noticed that we have updated our fabric descriptions to show 55" instead of 58". Here's why!
Because we want you to be able to make tablecloths out of our fabric, we print it on 58” wide cotton fabric. The laminate doesn’t always go all the way to the edges- so our guaranteed usable width is 55”.
Which is pretty wide!
What will you see on the selvedges? You may see the lamination ending an inch or more from one or both edges.
Don’t worry if the laminate isn't stuck to the fabric at the very end- it won't peel up. That’s where the heated roller that puts the lamination down ended!
In the end, there is at least 55" of laminated cotton width in each yard. You can do a lot with 55" of laminated cotton goodness! What will you make?
