Meet the new Splash Fabric Product Team!

You know that feeling when you’ve dreamed of something happening and it feels hard; but suddenly something falls into place and it’s easy and PERFECT?

That’s how I felt when I met Valerie & Megan last month at Sew Expo, my favorite sewing show, in Puyallup (near Seattle, where we live and make our products).

You will love them too.

These dream partners have now taken on our product line. 

What does this mean? It means you will continue to get excellent customer service, beautifully well-made, quality products, which will still be sewn right here in Seattle by the same local sewers! 

The difference will be that now they will be shipped from our new product warehouse in Silverdale AND you will get a dedicated team, Valerie and Megan, that manages all things product related.

I will still design the fabrics, and Hendra, our sewing partner, will continue to make our products with his team of local sewers (including every strange shape of custom tablecloths you can think up for us). Most importantly, all the jobs will stay here in the PNW.

That was important to me. 

To Sum Up

Seattle = Splash Fabric Laminated and Uncoated Cotton Orders

The Seattle warehouse, managed by Sarah and Becky, will maintain inventory, market and ship all things fabric.

Silverdale = Splash Fabric Product Orders

The Silverdale warehouse, managed by Valerie and Meghan, will maintain inventory, market and ship all things products.

You can still order both fabric and products in one order- they will just ship in two batches from the two locations.

More about Valerie and Megan

Valerie re-retired last month so the timing was perfect. Isn’t that how these things are supposed to work? She even started her own fulfillment company “Cascade Artisans”.

Megan still works for a local furniture design & manufacturing company in Silverdale, Washington. 

They will work from Valerie’s home - in her giant garage with a view. She had to push some sewing machines and other projects off to the side to make way for Splash, but it’s a perfect fit.

Her first comment was “I want to make one of every product so I really understand them”. Music to my makers’ ears.

When we met, the synergy was palpable. We spoke the same language. They have incredible energy, experience, knowledge, and expertise to bring to bring to our business as true partners.

Our values align, with kindness, generosity and honesty leading the way.

The Big Move

Last week we moved all of our products to the new warehouse- here's what it looked like!
